Braided platonic bodies
In the puzzlebox, you find a bunch of colourful stripes.
I saw this idea in a book looking over somebody's shoulder a long time ago and found it amazing. Each of the five platonic bodies is made of a number of similar stripes of papers or thin cardboard. I could never find the book again, so I started puzzling on my own.

I found the braided bodies so pretty that I made a mobile of them. It's a bit bruised because the cat got it down once, but still nice:
